![]() Although the Holy Week is gone and we are in the spirit of Easter Joy I would like to go back to some joyful days we had here at St Mary’s Seminary last week. Again, and praise the Lord for that, we hosted a couple of retreats for the Youth. Our small community was overpowered by enthusiasm and …. craziness of the young people who felt here very much at home. They prayed, reflected on faith, shared meals and social activates. Even if our normal timetable is different to the schedule they had during those days I could pick up one strong similarity. It was all about Jesus. Our Oblate life is centered and nurtured by Jesus and those who attended their retreat focused on Jesus. I believe that they returned home as different people because one cannot be the same after encountering Jesus. Well, at least that what happens to me. I must also say that I was most amazed by the questions that were articulated by boys and girls. They were very honest, challenging and real questions, reflecting what happens in their lives. I always believe that to ask a good question is a piece of art. To give a good answer to a good question is just a piece of cake. From the questions I got I can only say that those young people are life artists, I mean that they can shape their present and future in a powerful, Christian way. Looking at them I could also see that they were taking in the answers they were receiving. If they keep doing it with Christ they are going to be saints like John XXIII and John Paul II who are going to be canonized this Sunday.
