Fr Vincent's 50 years of priesthood
OBLATES  may sound a bit mysterious. However for me it is simple, Oblates are my family. I was born to a family, I've been blessed having my parents (though Dad passed away some years ago), my two brothers and a beautiful sister and extended family but Jesus has given me another family: Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate.

I remember as a young boy I overheard a person saying that Oblates are for the best. I started reflecting on my own life and I came to conclusion that I wasn't good enough to be an Oblate. I started even looking for another order to join but thank God an Oblate I was in touch with directed me very wisely. In 1995 I joined my heroes who became my brothers straight away.

Our story started with St Eugene de Mazenod who wanted to shout that there is no happiness without Jesus Christ. He lived in a very challenging period of time when the French Revolution made a massive damage  to people's faith.
